While creativity is a personal trait, innovation is about how a
company is designed, and how the parts within a company interact to create new
and meaningful change. Innovation = new + better. Ideas can come from anywhere,
and relate to anything – innovation isn’t just about product but it’s about people
as well. While a lot of companies claim innovation every year there are very few
whose entire foundation is based upon it.
We place design and creativity at the very core of everything that we do.
At the core of any great company is a great culture. It’s what
makes it all work. The culture at Titus is based on bringing like-minded people
together that share the vision of building a better mousetrap and having fun at
the same time. We have assembled a team of individuals who play hard, enjoy
each other and feed off of each other’s energy and ideas. This energy within the
building is fueled by our shared passion for cycling and innovative new products.
For 2009 the product development strategy from day one was quite simple – revolution not evolution. Our designers set out to make improvements that would send shockwaves throughout the industry and no stone was left unturned. Hours upon hours were spent hypothesizing, drawing, modeling, sampling, testing, questioning, exploring and ultimately playing – with one unwavering goal – lighter, faster, stronger - better.
